I fell in love with these pants a couple of weeks ago but didn't buy them because they were kind of expensive, so when I saw that they had gone on sale I had to have them.

The floral print is super cute and perfect for fall.

Here's a before and after

Since I learned how to use my sewing machine I've been doing a lot of alterations. This top is my most recent up cycle. It was super easy to alter and didn't take much time either.

I paired this top with some studded shorts I made earlier this summer. I've been wanting to wear my moccasins lately because they're super comfy and thought they went pretty well with the plaid.

This top is my second attempt at altering a garment that was way too big. The first attempt was a pair of polka dot shorts i turned into a skirt. 

I thrifted this top a while ago and had plans to alter it to fit but because i had no idea how to work a sewing machine, I couldn't do anything with it. After a little practice I decided to finally get to it. 

I took in the sides and made it high low. I love the way it came out and I think it looks pretty good for a beginner!

I think this denim vest is going to be my new favorite. I love the color, the acid wash effect, and the fact that it came from a local shop. The other day I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of The Hootnest, a super cool shop ran by my good friend Jeremy and his girlfriend Gina.The Hootnest will be open soon and if you're from the Fresno area, I definitely recommend checking it out.
